

Ted was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. His family moved to Detroit, Michigan when he was 4 years old. They later moved to Silver Spring, Maryland where Ted attended Blair High School and met the love of his life, Anne Erlanson.
Anne and Ted were married in May of 1953 after Ted served in Korea with the United States Army. The couple lived in Richmond, Virginia where their two daughters were born, Diane Elise and Brenda Lynne. The family moved to Laurel, Maryland where they made many fond memories and lots of wonderful friends.
Ted was predeceased by his wife Anne Owen, his sister Beverly Bussink (Pete), and his brother George Owen. He is survived by his daughter Diane Ksarjian (Philip), his daughter Brenda Jayne (Gordon, deceased), his grandchildren, Griffin Jayne, Allyson Jayne, Kristina Ksarjian Patton (Ben), and great grandson Brooks Patton.
Ted loved to work in the yard, cut the grass, blow the leaves, feed the squirrels and help his neighbors in anyway he could. He was called the Mayor of Goodman Road. Ted enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to fish, spend time boating and water skiing with friends and family. He was always active, going for walks, bike rides and exercising with his friends at the gym. He enjoyed playing with and taking care of his children, grandchildren and great grandson who will all miss “Papa”!
