Julian- I’ve been trying to figure out what to write here for the last few weeks and ultimately there’s no way to sum up the last 18 years of our life together in a post. It can’t capture all the memories, hugs, inside jokes, meals shared, YouTube videos watched, games played, highs and lows, and hopes we had for our future. 
As you often said, we grew up together. We were just kids when we met and we’ve been through so much life together. You also would say to me, ‘I don’t know how to do life without you’ and I feel the same. I don’t know how to do life without you. We complemented each other in all the fundamental ways that matter in a relationship, and balanced each other in all the right ways that mutually made each of us better. 
You were the most interesting person I knew. I loved having conversations with you because I would always learn something new. You opened up my world in so many ways. You were spontaneous in ways that I needed in my life. If you had only $5 left to your name, you’d give it to me. You always put me first and made me feel like the most beautiful girl in any room. I genuinely looked forward to you coming home so I could share my day with you. 
Over the course of our relationship, we had far, far more good days than bad. You’ve been my biggest cheerleader and never gave up on us. 
You leave behind the best possible legacy in Kayla. And I know I can’t begin to capture all the qualities that made you so wonderfully unique to pass down to her, but I will certainly try my best. I will share with her all your favorites- movies, music, food, tech, games, etc. Teach her as best as I can how to navigate this crazy world. Take her to the places that we had wanted to take her to together. Share stories that hopefully will make her smile fondly whenever she thinks of you. Even if I do just a fraction of all the things I know you would’ve done for her as her dad, I’ll call myself successful.
My heart is shattered. I miss you and will love you always.

I worked with Julian. He interviewed me, actually. I gave a cheeky answer to one of the questions that avoided the problem, and while the other interviewer was frustrated, Julian laughed and thoroughly enjoyed the situation. His reaction made my day. 

He continued to carry the same carefree attitude throughout our time working together. When I picture him, it's with a smile on his face. I'll miss him. My condolences.

You were one of my two first friends I made when I came to elementary school from being home schooled. I remember sleeping over at each other’s house and staying up all night playing N64 and getting into all kinds of trouble. We were so sad when you switched schools and moved but I remember we found a way to hike a mile through the woods to get to your new house just to keep hanging out.

I was looking forward to getting to know you the man you’d grown into as we both became fathers, but our time has been tragically cut short. You will forever be missed, my friend.

It’s always great to find a fellow member of the nerd tribe.  While Laura started board gaming with us “long” ago, when Julian joined for the first time, I was inspired by his thoughtfulness and wisdom when he spoke.

We were often together in group settings, but I so enjoyed when we could hang out in a corner and geek out on any number of topics.  

I will miss you and your thoughtfulness.

I had the pleasure of working with Julian at SparkPost, and the main thing I remember about him is how he was so helpful and supportive, but above all else, Julian was kind. He'd let me vent to him about all sorts of tooling issues and would take time to work on projects that could help improve my day-to-day work. We'd talk about food and family, but mostly food. He'd ask what I was planning to eat or cook that day to pick myself up after a bad day, or what kind of experimental dish or ingredient he should try next. 

He was one of the first people to congratulate me when I got a new job, told me to keep crushing it, and was so supportive. We lost touch in the last few years, but I'll always remember the support he offered and how it got me through some of the hardest times in my life. 

Julian, I hope you know I'm still crushing it, or at least trying my best to live up to the bar you set for me!

We have had the honour of calling Julian our friend for the last decade and feel such sadness with the news of his passing. 

We met Julian through our adventures in online gaming and are so lucky to have done so. He was filled with humour and joy and he brought such camaraderie and entertainment to our online gaming circle.

Although we were never able to meet him in person, we thought of him as one of our truest friends and would all often talk about the day that we would all get together offline. Our conversations and memories spanned many life milestones and he was there through significant parts of our lives.

Our hearts and prayers go out to you Laura and Kayla, as well as Julian’s family - we cannot begin to express the depth of our sadness for you all during this difficult time. 

Laura, you and Kayla were Julian’s greatest loves and he would always bring you both up in our conversations. We can still remember his joy when he shared the news of Kayla’s birth. We had never heard him more proud and full of love.

Julian, you will always be remembered and appreciated for being part of our found family. You were always so excited for us to finally say our vows and next week when we say I do, we know you’ll be there too.

Dear Laura and Kayla,

I am deeply saddened to hear about Julian’s passing. While I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, I had the privilege of knowing him for nearly a decade through our shared passion for online gaming. Julian was truly the most kind-hearted and down-to-earth person I’ve encountered in the virtual world. Our conversations about the differences between Australia and the USA were always a highlight, and I will cherish those memories forever.

Please know that my thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with you both and Julian’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Julian spoke often of you both, and I hope you find some comfort in knowing how much he was cherished by those who knew him, even from afar.

I am very sorry to Kayla, Laura, and the Moyse family for your loss.  

Julian deeply loved Kayla.  I recall watching him hold and love his little girl shortly after she was born.  His love for her, radiated in his eyes.  They share the same beautiful smile.

Julian’s smile and positive energy will be sorely missed. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with him and was looking forward to gathering our families together and watching the kids grow up. Our hearts go out to all who knew him.

I had the pleasure of working with Julian at SparkPost; we shared lots of life together. At the time, we'd go through these cycles where he'd share how amazed he was with my and others' abilities to be parents and working, and I'd encourage him that one day he'd be a father and would do just fine!

So I'm devastated that his fathering time was cut short, as was all of our's ability to see his infectious smile brighten any room he entered.

Julian will truly be missed, and my heart is crushed by news of his passing.

I have so many fond memories of Julian. We spent many a lunch talking about Dune and how excited we were to see the movies. I remember those conversations so well, and they still fill me with joy.

Julian had such a wonderful way of looking at the world and cared so deeply about those around him. I know those who received that care will remember it, and will remember Julian.
