Michael Ernest Vernon of Columbia, MD passed away Tuesday, 21 February, 2023. He was born on March 17, 1941 in Oakland, CA to the late Virginia Wegner and Earl Vernon. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. He retired as a metal worker from the US Coast Guard.
He is survived by 3 children, Eric Vernon, Adam Vernon (Robin), and Tony Vernon, 5 grandkids, Joshua, Ryan, Luke, Noah, and Gabriel. He loved his grandkids very much and was a devoted Pop-Pop.
Family will receive friends at Witzke Funeral Homes, Inc, 5555 Twin Knolls Rd, Columbia, MD 21045 on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 from 11am to 12pm, where a memorial service will begin at 12pm.
