

Robin Cheryl Cooke, daughter of the late Ralph M. and Mary B. Cooke, was born in Washington, D.C on October 26, 1959. She attended school in the District of Columbia, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1978. Robin was employed at Saint Luke Institute, Inc. in Silver Spring, Maryland and simply loved her job.
Robin was very proud of her children and was especially thrilled that her son Jamal was enjoying and doing well in his first year in College. She was an avid follower of the Washington Redskins becoming extremely depressed when they loss. She loved movies and boasted about her large collection of DVDs. Robin enjoyed spending time with her family and she especially loved the holidays. She found her greatest joy in cooking for the family.
Robin went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 14, 2010. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted daughter, Nicole Williams, and son Jamal Isaiah Cooke; son-in-law, DeGama Williams; step-granddaughter, Daeja Williams; brother, Ralph M. Cooke, III; 2 sisters Vanessa C. Cooke and Dr. Laurie Cooke Berthe; brother-in-law, Abdoulaye Berthe; 3 nephews, Ralph M. Cooke, IV, Reginald S. Chichester, and Omar Berthe; 3 nieces Mary C. Milline, Mariam N. Berthe, and Sofia M. Berthe; 3 Aunts, and a host of other relatives and friends.
