
The son of Henry and Rose Campagna, Vincent Anthony Campagna was born and raised in Baltimore, where he graduated in 1959 from Patterson Park High School. He attended the University of Baltimore, where he earned a degree in business administration in 1966.
He began his career in banking, working for First National Bank of Maryland and ascending to Vice President of Columbia Bank and Trust Company. He acquired, trademarked and developed the marketing strategy for the popular Harvey Wallbanker ATMs and planned the only installation of lobby ATMs in a vestibule mode in the country at that time. He also served as President and Director of the Columbia Business Exchange.
Vince enjoyed a long career in Residential Estate in and around the Howard County, Maryland area. A triathlete; cyclist, runner and swimmer, Vince competed in and volunteered for the Columbia Triathlon for over 25 years. He enthusiastically coached Master's Swimmers in Columbia.
Mr. Campagna is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, the former Donna Bross; two sons, Marc Campagna and Todd Campagna; a sister, Josephine Marr; a brother, Thomas Campagna; a stepdaughter, Christina Kapp; a stepson, Brian Cunneff; and two granddaughters, Emily and Nora Kapp.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church, 6800 Oakland Mills Road in Columbia. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service.
