Brenda was born on January 11, 1957 in Ontario, CA the daughter of Nile and Theresa (Denman) Stone who preceded her in death. On September 11, 1987 in Columbia, MO she was united in marriage to Jerry Coleman. Brenda was a waitress for several years at the Main Street Café at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO and then was a waitress for 10 years at the Philly Café in Eldon, MO. She enjoyed gardening, camping, going on adventures, sitting by the water and taking care of her flowers. She was passionate about spending time with her family and was an amazing mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Coleman of the home; four daughters, Tanita Jeffries (Virgil), Amber Coleman both of Eldon, MO, Kristina Coil (Jason) of Clark, MO and Amanda Lucas (Terry) of Centralia, MO; three brothers, Dale Stone of Arkansas, Gale Stone (Daryll) of Texas and Junior Stone (Shannon) of California, MO; one sister, Lena Mantle (Bob) of Sturgeon, MO; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson and one on the way.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Vincent; two sisters, Glenda Stone and Lorita Stone and her son-in-law, Michael Wade.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm at the funeral home with Rev. JD Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Mt Nebo Cemetery, Huntsdale, MO.
