

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents.
Carlene leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her son, Levi Coolley; her grandson, Damon Jennings; and her granddaughter, Brooklyn Coolley. She is also survived by cherished family members Melissa Jennings, Ashley Troutman, and Roy Brown. Carlene was deeply blessed with many close friends who became family and filled her life with love, laughter, and companionship.
Carlene retired as a medical transcriptionist from Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri, where she dedicated many years of service with care and professionalism.
Carlene will be remembered for her kind, calming, and optimistic spirit, which touched everyone who knew her. She had a gentle voice filled with encouragement and a deep, abiding love for her family and friends. A true artist at heart, Carlene joyfully shared her love of the arts with others through painting ceramics, journaling, drawing, and creating beautiful diamond dot art. These creative moments brought her great happiness and peace, and they created countless treasured memories for those blessed to share them with her.
Her loved ones will miss her dearly and will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Carlene’s favorite saying, “God is good… all the time,” will continue to echo as a reminder of her faith, strength, and unwavering positivity.
A celebration of Carlene’s life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared by the family.
