
Born December 8, 1940, in Concord, New Hampshire, Cynthia was the daughter of Clair Garfield and Dorothy May (Anderson) Burbank.
After graduating from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree, Cynthia went on to dedicate over 40 years of service to Boyce and Bynum Laboratories in Columbia. Her professionalism, integrity, and diligence earned her the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
Cynthia was a woman of deep faith and unwavering love. She was one of the original founders of Blue Ridge Christian Church in Columbia, where she remained a devoted and active member for many decades. Her church family was a cherished part of her life, and she found great joy in worship, service, and fellowship.
She is survived by her beloved son, Brian Thomas of Columbia, Missouri; her treasured granddaughter, Megan Thomas of Sunrise, Florida; her dear church family; and many relatives and friends who were blessed by her life.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Jane Crotty, and her brother William Garfield Burbank.
Cynthia’s legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A service honoring and celebrating Cynthia’s life will be held at a later date.
