Dorothy was an excellent cook, and she enjoyed cooking for her family. Her desserts were made from scratch and delicious! There was nothing she cooked that wasn’t superb.
Dorothy was a longtime member of Broadway Christian Church and a member of the Sunrise Optimisses. Dorothy also loved spending time at their lake home at the Lake of the Ozarks, it was there she enjoyed time with family and friends. She often took her grandchildren to spend a week at the lake during summer break from school. She also enjoyed spending winters in Daytona Beach Florida and Ft. Myers Florida. She and Walter also belonged to RV camp clubs in the central Missouri area where they made many new friends and enjoyed old ones as well. Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother.
