It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henry Dale McBaine of Boonville, Missouri. He passed on April 19, 2022 at the age of 80. A visitation for Dale will be Friday, April 22, 2022 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm with funeral services at 12:00 pm, both at Memorial Funeral Home. A short graveside service will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO at 2:00 pm.
Dale was born in Columbia, MO on December 6, 1941 to parents Wealthy Jewell Thornton McBaine and William Henry McBaine. He had a military career spanning 34 years from December 1959 until his honorable discharge in June 2001. His service included 4 years in the Air Force playing Triple A baseball as a shortstop, and 30 years in the National Guard where he achieved the rank of Sergeant. After retiring from the military, he spent many years fishing, golfing, watching westerns and wrestling, and playing with his grandchildren.
Dale is survived by his sister, Helen Turner; his children, Anthony McBaine, Samantha Tetrick, and Gabryel Wayne; grandchildren, Dallas McBaine, Madison McBaine, Brielle Woolman, Sebastian Wayne, and Augustus Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewell and Henry McBaine; his brothers, WIlliam Jr. McBaine and Frank McBaine; and his sisters, Ruth Harris and Mary Acton.
