

A Masonic service will be 2pm Saturday August 27, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, followed by Military service, and the family will have a Celebration of Life, with family and friends.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father Ronald Lee Cozad.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Tonya Cozad, of Rocheport, MO, children Janelle Cozad, Michael R. Cozad, and Emily E. Rinehart, grandchildren Natalie L. Cozad, Isabell L Cozad and Mason A. Myers. Mother Linda Cozad, three nephew, SPC Ethan Williams, Lance Williams, David Cozad, Jr, nine nieces, SPC Jacqulynn Williams, Amber Ceicle, Hope Murray, Abbie Murray, Lydia Murray, Ella Murray, Jessica Cozad, two great-nephew Hoyt B. Fricki, Luke Williams and great-niece Saida K. Fricki.
Jimmy was born January 10, 1967 in Centerville, Iowa to Ronald and Linda Cozad, he later graduated from Centerville High School, in 1985. In 1998 he married the love of his life Tonya in Columbia. He served in the US Army with two honorable discharges. He was a Master Mason, from Harrisburg/ Boonville and in the Ararat Shiner Clown Team., of Columbia.
Jimmy loved to travel and go cruises with his family. He was always in a tie-dye shirt, you could not miss him. He was always picking on folks, whether you wanted him to or not, and had a laugh that was catching. He loved the KC Chiefs, to the point of tattooing them on himself, he liked watching movies, playing video games and leather working. Jimmy loved his kids, grandkids very much. He will be missed greatly. Jimmy always told me (Tonya) that he loved me every day, and I felt so loved.
