He was born to the late Joseph Andrew Bollag and the late Mary Catherine Crafton to July 1, 1945, in St. Louis, MO.
In 1968 Joe and Karen Wood were united in marriage at the Newman Center in Columbia, MO. They had 57 beautiful years together.
Joe earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Missouri University and proudly served in the Air force.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Ballog; brother-in-laws, Kenneth Berghorn, Dale Keil, and Dwayne Wood; sister in law Anita Keil; nieces, Amy Alferman (James), Lori Helm (Steve), Dr. Kimberly Cayce (Terrence), Angela Dugger (Shannon), Christinia Wood; nephew, Jason Wood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Jane Berghorn.
