

Judy Kelly was born in Los Angeles, CA on April 3, 1935, to Gilbert and Zola (Parker) Price. She graduated from Los Angeles City College with an Associate of Arts Degree. Judy married Delbert Litton in Oklahoma City, 1956. He was a pilot in the Air Force, and Judy was an officer’s wife. They lived an adventurous loving life together in Oklahoma City, OK; Wiesbaden, Germany; Salina, KS; Panama Canal Zone, Panama; Glen Elder, KS, Plattsburg, NY and Bellevue, NE. Judy retired from being an Air Force wife when Delbert retired in 1978 and they moved to Columbia, MO. After 29 years of marriage, Delbert passed away in 1985. Judy married Robert Kelly in 1990. They travelled extensively for the 20 years they were married. Robert passed away in 2010. Judy found two great loving men to share her life with, lightning struck twice here.
After the children were grown, she returned to work as a real estate secretary/agent in Bellevue, NE, and later for the University of Missouri as an Executive Staff Assistant to the Director of Campus Facilities.
Judy volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Assistance League, and the Sacred Heart Church. Judy enjoyed reading, aqua exercise, flower arranging, seashells, snorkeling, bridge, and collecting antique hat pins. Judy belonged to Birthday Club, Newcomers, Columbia Garden Club, the Assistance League, Miata Club of Mid Missouri, and two bridge clubs. She obtained her pilot’s license in 1971.
Judy had so many close and dear friends, she treasured each one of you.
Judy met two wonderful men, travelled the world, made many friends and had adventures too many to recount. A life well lived.
Judy is survived by her sons, Dale Litton and Scott Litton; Grandson John Litton (Desi); Granddaughter Ashley (Shawn) Dornbusch; Granddaughter, Heather LeConte, (Andy); Great Grandchildren Nash, Harper and Lainee. Stepchildren Robert Kelly, Jr (Jan), Michael Kelly (Julie), Joyce Kelly (Pat), Connie Kelly (John), Peter Kelly (Sheila), grandchildren Maeve, Erin, Scott, Kristi, Kelly, Axel, Liam and Declan; Great grandchildren Peyton, Grayson and Madigan.
Judy was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Zoe Guy and stepdaughter Eileen Kelly.
Meet and greet with friends and family will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Columbia, Missouri on September 14 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
