Visitation will be 2-3pm Friday December 30, 2016 at Woodcrest Chapel 2201 Nifong, Columbia, MO, with A Celebration of Life to follow at 3pm.
Kurt was preceded in death by his parents William R and Francis Jean Wallace. Survivors include his loving wife of forty years Charlotte Wallace of the home, Brother Craig Wallace and wife Tammy, of Mount Vernon Missouri, sons Zachary Wallace and wife Abigial, and Andrew Wallace, all of Columbia, MO. He also leaves two well-loved grandchildren William Rex and Oscar Stephen Wallace.
Kurt graduated from Oklahoma State University, in May 1976, with a BA in Architecture. In 1998, Kurt opened Wallace Architects, which specializes in designing affordable multi family housing for families and seniors. He is on the national board of the Counsel for Affordable Rural Housing, is the president of the Missouri Workforce Housing Association and is also on the board for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Missouri.
Kurt loved spending time with his family at their lake house, fly fishing, hunting and playing golf with his boys.
