Visitation will take place, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday March 19, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private for the family at a later date. On March 5, 1983 she was united in marriage to Ronnie Canole, Jr. who survives.
Leslie was employed by Boone County for over 30 years, working in the County Clerk’s Office. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Leslie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy came from gathering the family around for home cooked meals, celebrating the holidays, camping and float trips. Her children fondly remember the Friday night tradition of going roller skating when they were younger. She enjoyed reading and listening to books. She was very skilled at all kind of crafts and her family and friends received many beautiful gifts that they will always cherish. She never missed her children and grandchildren’s events. Leslie shared a special bond with her granddaughter, Cheyenne.
Leslie is survived by her husband: Ronnie, their children: Kenneth Lee Canole of Columbia, Kaitlyn Danielle (Jeff) Giboney of Fulton, Keegan Barry Canole of Columbia, Rhonda (Mike) Cuddy of Ashland, Mindie (Jason) Canole-Roush of Columbia, five grandchildren: Michayla, Ely, Cheyenne, Tanner, Savannah, one great grandchild: Lillie, one aunt: Allene Davidson of Columbia, cousins, nieces, nephews and the close family from her work in the Clerk’s Office. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: David Kevin Roberts.
