Maudie Pearl Sublett

Maudie Pearl (Lord) Sublett, 96, of Columbia, MO passed away January 9, 2022. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with a funeral service at 11:00 am, both at Memorial Funeral Home, Columbia on Friday, January 14, 2021. A graveside service will follow at Olivet Cemetery.

Maudie was born in Hams Prairie, MO April 20, 1925 to Charles and Laura (Means) Lord. On November 1, 1946, she was united in marriage to Roy W. Sublett. He precedes her in death. Maudie had a career as a nursing assistant and was a member of the Good Sam Camping Group. Maudie enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, walking, and square dancing. She also volunteered regularly at the food bank.

Maudie was predeceased by her parents, husband, Roy W. Sublett; sons, James L. Sublett and Tommy L. Sublett; sister, Flossie (Bill) Brewer; brothers, Charles Wesley Lord and Robert Shirley.

Maudie is survived by daughter-in-law, Elna Sublett; grandchildren, Michael (Julie) Green, Michelle (Brent) Brooks, Laura Avery, Christine (Pat Almanza) Sublett, Steven (Bev) Sublett, Charity (Tony) Kolenc, Charles Zinn Jr., Leia (Brian) Edmonds, Jeremiah Stensrud, and Kimberly Sublett; great-grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley), Seth, Hannah, Millie, Megan, Jason, Dawson, Alex, Isabella, Jade, Duston, Dallas, Denver, Destiny, Brandon, Vanessa, Aiddean, Braxton, Elijah, and Josiah; great-great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Kloe, Ryker, and Destry; many nieces and nephews; and a special, friend Paul Terry.
