She is survived by her five children: Troy D. Anderson, Phillip D. Anderson, Thomas W. Marrero, Anthony J. Marrero and Margaret L. Marrero. Peggy was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Peggy also leaves behind her four beloved sisters: Kay Stephens, Jackie Miller, Nanette Weber and Judy Hackman.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Maybelle and Jim W. Turner.
A woman of many talents, Peggy had a passion for music. She was a member of a chorale and the Opera Club in high school, displaying her beautiful voice, and she could skillfully play the piano and guitar. Her love for music was a source of joy for those around her.
Peggy pursued a career as a psychiatric nurse after graduating from the University of Missouri. Her dedication to the well-being of others extended beyond her professional life as she engaged in community service.
Family and friends will cherish the memories of Peggy's laughter, kindness, and love. A private family service will be held at a later date.
