Raymond Barnie Rice

Visitation will be on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 10:00 am at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.

Raymond was born on January 3, 1926 in Rocheport, MO the son of Robert and Betty Lou Rice who preceded him in death. He was married on June 12, 1951 in Boone County, MO to Vera Nichols who preceded him in death on March 30, 2009.

Survivors include: six children, Joyce Tindle (Roger) of Kirkwood, MO, David Rice (Anita) of Columbia, MO, Melva Lou Slate of Hallsville, MO, Linda Trumbo (John) of Pettaluma, CA, Steven Rice (Jill) of Columbia, MO and Robert Rice (Lori) of Hallsville, MO; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and two brothers, Ray Rice (Shirley) and Donald Rice (Kelly). He was also preceded in death by five sisters, Gladys Melloway, Hazel Sombraski, Frances Morton, Louise Cook and Ruby Hinshaw and two brothers, Billy Rice and Clifford Rice.
