

Robert or “Bob” as he was known to many, is survived by his sons Lee and Kimberly Riley of Columbia, Robert and Tiffany Riley of Denver, and daughter Tricia and Javier Riley-Munoz, of Lodi, 8 grandchildren, Abby, Caleb, Lance, Rachel, Collin, Cody, Sydnie, and Tessa. He was preceded in death by his wife Pat, both parents, William and Phylliss Riley, and a sister Barbara Ann.
Robert was born in Lebanon Missouri, but lived the majority of his life in Livermore, California where he raised his family and taught math at John F. Kennedy High School in Fremont. Robert was best known for his quiet demeanor and desire to serve those around him. Growing up Robert enjoyed his passion for hunting and playing the guitar among other instruments. Later in life, his enjoyment was spending time with his wife Pat, his family, and his closest friends in Disneyland. He lived his last 7 years in Columbia Missouri were he was near family and worked everyday with his son Lee. He will be missed by all who had an opportunity to know him.
Funeral Services will be held at the LDS Church 4708 Highlands Parkway, Columbia, Missouri 65203 Thursday August 28, 2014 at 1PM. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, Missouri Wednesday August 27, from 6-8PM.
As some of you may know Robert lived with Type 1 Diabetes since he was a teenager. Those that would like to make a donation on Robert’s behalf to Camp Hickory Hill scholarship fund, a camp for the education of children and youth with Type 1 Diabetes, please do so in his name at PO Box 1942, Columbia, MO 65205.
