Rollie Burbridge

Services will be Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Harrisburg Christian Church with Visitation 1 - 2 PM and a Service at 2 PM. Burial will be private for the family at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Rollie was born on March 16, 1946 in Cassville, Missouri the son of Truie Burbridge and Lela (Mikeman) Burbridge. He attended Crowder College where he played on the school’s first baseball team. On August 10, 1968 he was united in marriage to Patricia Flischel.

Rollie had a life-long love of baseball. After college, he played for the Columbia Stags. He then played in the Men’s Senior Baseball League 40+ Division World Series several years in Arizona, also playing in the MSBL Father/Son World Series twice with Greg and Brad, winning that tournament in 2005. He finished his career playing in the Hartsburg 30 and Over Tournament until age 71. He was a life-long fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He worked in sales in the heating and cooling business before retiring and was a member of the Harrisburg Christian Church.

Rollie is survived by his wife: Patricia; their three sons: Greg (Jamie) Burbridge; Brad (Jessica) Burbridge; Randy (Jamie) Burbridge; two sisters: Captola Cowles and Donna Kay Blankenship; nine grandchildren: Zach Williams; Haley Burbridge; Kaitlynn Burbridge; Lucas Osdieck; Cierra Martin; Shane Burbridge; Abigail Burbridge; Addison Osdieck; Lindsey Burbridge and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Dollie Owens and Sue Duncan; one brother: Herbert Burbridge and an infant son: Brian Burbridge
