Walter Jankowski passed away on February 3, 2015, shortly after his 90th Birthday. During World War II, Walter served in the Merchant Marines. In 1954 he married Lynn who predeceased him. He is survived by his daughters, Helen (Frank) and Ruth (Mike) and his grandchildren Jennifer and Alex. Walter most recently lived at Colony Pointe where he loved all the staff and residents, who also loved him. The family is grateful to the nurses, physicians and staff at University Hospital for the exceptional care he received during his recent illness. No services will be held.
