Funeral services will be Wednesday May 30, 2012 at 11 am in the Enon Baptist Church for Mrs. Bertha L. Simmons age 96 of Columbia who died May 28, 2012 in Columbia. Internment will be in the church cemetey. Elder Clyder Cooper will officate at the service assisted by Elder James Broom. Visitation will be wednesday May 30,2012 from 9am-11am @ the church. A native of Marion County,MS she was a homemaker and member of Enon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband- Charles Shelby Simmons. Survivors include: 3 sons- Charles Douglas Simmons, Gene Steven Simmons & Kirby Lynn Simmons all of Columbia 2 Sis.- Lorinne Beard of Tylertown,MS & Verline Blankston of Diamondhead,MS 3 Grandchildren & 16 Great Grandchildren In lieu of flowers family request donations to St. Jude Childrens hospital in Memphin,TN
