Cora Mae Miller

Cora Mae Miller, age 91 of Foxworth, MS passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. A native of Marion County, MS, Mrs. Miller was longtime owner of Miller Furniture and Appliances in Foxworth, and a member of Antioch Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She loved spending time with all of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she was so proud.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, George Miller, Sr.; parents, Richard and Pearl Forbes; brother, Gilbert Wayne Forbes; and daughter-in-law, Shelia Miller. She is survived by three sons, Mondal (Betty) Miller, Jimmy (Carol) Miller, and Charlie Miller; six grandchildren, Wayne Miller, Bo Miller, Eric Miller, Julie Freeman, Scarlet Sullivan, and Bridget Kingston; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 10:00am at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia where Reverend Willie Martin will preside over services. Interment will be in Foxworth Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will include Wayne Miller, Bo Miller, Eric Miller Jason Kingston, Brent Sullivan, Cody Martin, and Nathan Miller. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to donate in Mrs. Miller’s memory to Antioch Baptist Church, 1526 Hwy 586, Foxworth, MS 39483 or Foxworth Cemetery.
