Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11am in the chapel of Colonial Funeral Home for Mrs. Edith A. Long age 102 of Columbia who passed away Tuesday May 28th at The Myrtles Nursing Home in Columbia, Ms. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Rev. Millard Moak will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday 9:30 untill 11am at the funeral home. A native of Sardis, Ms she was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Columbia, Ms. She is preceded in death by her husband Mr. Henry Clayton Long, a son Herbert Eugene Poff, 3 sisters, Jessie Burke, Jimmie Bradymeyer, Edna Branlett and a brother Bernie Ray Langston. She is survived by 2 grandsons, Herbert E. Poff and Clayton Poff and a great granddaughter, Samantha Poff and many other friends and family.
