George Brent Crain

George Brent Crain, age 58, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at Marion General Hospital in Columbia, MS. He was born in Bogalusa, LA and was a longtime resident of Columbia where he worked in various occupations including truck driving and handyman trades. Brent was a member of Carson Springs Baptist Church and will be missed by his family who loved him very much.

Brent was preceded in death by his son, Brenton Crain; his father, Shelby Crain; and brothers, Robby Crain, and Greg Crain.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Crain of Columbia; a sister, Angela Greer (Dale) of Columbia; a brother, Reggie Crain of Lumberton, MS; and two grandchildren, Kelby Pittman, and Brooklyn Crain.
