Glen Beard

Glen Beard, age 79 passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Gulfport, MS. Glen was a 1960 graduate of West Marion High School and worked as a cutter at Pioneer Aerospace and retired after 24 years of employment. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Beard was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Beard; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Ramshur, and Jazmyn Cooper; parents, Horace L. Beard and Wilma Brister Beard; sister, Josie Bedwell; and brother, Wendell Beard. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Saucier (David) of Goss, MS, and Becky Cooper (James) of Comstock, TX; a son, Gabby Beard (Jennifer) of Saucier, MS; four grandchildren, Bryan Cooper, Melanie Bryant, Trista Lembcke, and Garrett Beard; and five great-grandchildren, J.B. Cooper, Nayely Gonzalez, Madi Ramshur, Arturo Gonzalez, and Branson Bryant.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Society Hill Cemetery.
