James “Jaybo” Clinton. Age 44 passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his home in Columbia, MS. He was of the Baptist faith and worked in construction as a roofer and residential painter. Jaybo enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing.
His father, Wayne Clinton, preceded Jaybo in death. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Clinton of Columbia; sisters, Shelly Stringer (Dale) of Foxworth, MS, and Candice Clinton of Hattiesburg, MS; a brother, Christopher Clinton of Petal, MS; and several extended family members including his nephews, Jasper Stringer, and Jacob Stringer, both of Foxworth.
Jaybo’s service will be private with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
