James D. Morgan

Affectionately known a Jim, he was born on 10-13-1962 in Marion County, Ms, to Lynn Stringer Morgan & Shelton Wayne "Pete" Morgan. He has one sibling, Alan Wayne Morgan. He atttended Holy Trinity Catholic Church Where Father Gillespie is the Priest. God called Jim Home on October 20, 2011. He was only 49 years old.

Jim is the grandson of the late Claude & Yuba Stringer of the Improve Community, and of the late Molly & Lee Morgan of Morgantown, Ms. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and dad. Jim was a long time employee of Energy Resource Technology as Production Superintendent, where his leadeship will be greatly missed. Jim provided many jobs for several men in the oil industry. Jim was an avid hunter, he love to fish, he thoroughly loved spending time with his family, and he enjoyed being outdoors. He was a very hard working man, a great family man, and a true friend to numerous people.

Jim is survived by his wife of 17 years, Yvonne Berry Morgan, his son Cole Morgan; daughter Sarah Vann Price and her husband Cole Price, son Colin Vann; grandson Richard Vann Price; brother Alan Wayne Morgan and wife Stacey; all of Columbia, Ms; his mother Lynn Stultz of Hattiesburg, Ms; his sister in law , Monique Berry Goar; his nieces Corinn Goar, Tiffnay Goar, Ashley Morgan Peters and her husband Jim Peters; Abby Lee Morgan; and several great nieces & nephews.
