Kayonna Forbes Smith

Kayonna Forbes Smith, age 63 of Foxworth, MS passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at her residence. She was a native of Marion County, MS and was primarily a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Allen Smith; her mother, Mrs. Cecil Pittman Forbes; sister, Judy Forbes; and brothers, James Forbes, Larry Forbes, and Calvin Forbes. Survivors include her sons, Dr. Daniel Smith and his wife, Leslie, and Stephen Smith and his wife, Heather, both of Foxworth; her father, Jimmie Forbes of Foxworth; and four grandchildren, Samuel Smith, Kaylee Smith, Haylie Smith, and Eli Smith.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, February 20, 2020 and funeral services on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:00am all at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia, MS. Reverend Randall Buchanan, and Reverend Nicholas Neese will preside over services. Burial will take place at Richland Creek Cemetery.
