Louise Gill

Louise Gill, age 87 passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Marion General Hospital in Columbia, MS. She was a lifelong resident of Columbia where she was primarily a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Mrs. Gill was preceded in death by her husband, Webster Gill; parents, Cecil Alexander and Bertrez Grice Alexander; brother, Jerry Alexander; a grandson, Tyler Singley; and a great-granddaughter, Louise Bledsoe. Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Gill Singley, and Suzanne Griffith, both of Columbia; a sister, Sandra Cox of Prentiss, MS; three grandchildren, Tessa Bledsoe, Devin Griffith, and Damon Griffith; two great-grandchildren, Breck Bledsoe, and Rosemary Bledsoe; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Mullins of Middleburg, FL.

Family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery.
