Mark Anthony Peak

Mark Anthony Peak, of Columbia, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the age of 57. He was born in Columbia as one of eight children to Fred and Sylvia Peak and has remained a lifelong resident of Columbia. Mark had a big heart and never met a stranger. He was a handyman and will be remembered for his ability to repair anything. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Lee Peak. Mark is survived by his son, Justin Peak; his loving mother, Sylvia Peak; three sisters, Judy (James) Priest, Wanda Peak, and Deborah Moorman; four brothers, David (Freddie) Peak, Philip (Dana) Peak, Sr., Tommy (Linda) Peak, and Paul Peak; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service, officiated by Elvis Smith, for Mark at 10:00am on Sunday, September 6, 2020 in Foxworth Cemetery. James Priest, Barron Turnage, Ricky Holloway, Elvis Smith, Mark Broom, and Jessie Kelly will assist as pallbearers.
