Mary Jane Davis Bell

Mary Jane Davis Bell, of Oak Vale, MS, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Hattiesburg at the age of 62. Jane had been a resident of Oak Vale for the past 15 years. She found great enjoyment in arts and crafts, traveling, shopping and eating out at new restaurants. Jane will be remembered for her infectious smile. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Lee Pierce and her father, Bill Davis. Jane is survived by her husband, Steve Bell; two daughters, Cherrell Freeman and Mandy Mayer and her husband Ernest; a son, Travis Freeman and his wife, Lindsey; five grandchildren, Cassidy Jones, Paige Freeman, Truett Freeman, Samantha Mayer and Colton Mayer; one great-grandchild, Cameron Thomas and a sister, Barbara Higgs. There will be a visitation at Society Hill Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service will be at the church on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00am. Burial will follow in the cemetery at Society Hill.
