Muriel "Sue" Wilson

Muriel “Sue” Wilson, of Hurricane Creek, went peacefully in her sleep to the Lord. She was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Arthur and Emmy Williamson and has been a resident of Hurricane Creek since 2005. Sue was a prayer warrior of strong faith who was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed nature, music, art, and being with family. Sue created many of her own works of art with stained glass, drawings and oil. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and gentle nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dave Williamson. Sue is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Gary Wilson; four nieces, Shannon Wilson, DeeDee Randall and her husband, Michael, Brandi Williamson, and Perry Ann Byler; two nephews, Joel Wilson and Brian Williamson and his wife, Stacy; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

There will be a visitation for Sue at Colonial Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Sue will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
