Sherri Pendarvis, age 66 passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS. She had served as a Registered Nurse with the Marion County Correctional Facility since 2008 and continued until her health would no longer allow it. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of Chapel of the Cross.
Sherri enjoyed many pleasures in life including gardening, vacationing in The Great Smoky Mountains, and especially watching her grandson play baseball.
Sherri is survived by her sons, James Kenneth Pendarvis (Amanda Mary) of Tucson, AZ, and Nick Pendarvis of Columbia; her mother, Sally Coulter, and brother, Ken Coulter, both of Columbia; and a grandson, Kaden Pendarvis.
Her father, Kenneth Ray Coulter, Sr. precedes her in death.
A graveside service, officiated by Reverend Reed Houston, will be held on December 12, 2025, at 10:00 am at Old East Columbia Methodist Cemetery, located at 60 Friendship Church Rd in Columbia.
