Elvin Ford Tolley

COLUMBIA – Funeral service for E. F. “Al” Tolley, 82, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel with interment to follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation of South Carolina, 508 Hampton Street, Suite 200, Columbia, SC 29201.

Al was born September 15, 1929, in Draper, North Carolina, and passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. He was the son of the late Marion Randolph and Bulah Wilson Tolley. Al’s most prized accomplishment was his marriage to his loving wife of 52 years.

Al is survived by his wife, Carolyn W. Tolley; son, Mark A. Tolley of Charlotte, NC; daughters, Rebecca T. Dominick and Elizabeth C. Tolley; sons, Joseph C. Tolley and James R. Tolley all of Irmo; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
