Harold Judson Talbert Jr.

Mr. Talbert died Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Born in Edgefield, SC, he was a son of the late Harold Judson Talbert and Louise Stack Talbert. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, he was a retired Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Southeastern Chemical. He was a member of Columbia Country Club, Downtown Rotary Club, and Living Springs Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his children, Nancy T. Padgett of Columbia, SC, Harold Talbert III (Cheryl) of Key Largo, FL, and Janet T. Lay (Brien) of Charleston, SC; his four-legged child, Charlie Dog, AKA mayor of Wellington; grandchildren, Jennifer Ladd (Adam) of Augusta, GA, Bradley Padgett (Molissa) of Gaston, SC, Jonathan Padgett (Ashlyn) of Eastover, SC, Patrick Lay and Bryson Lay, both of Charleston, SC, Whitney Whyte (James) of Vancouver, BC, and Harold Talbert IV of Alexandria, VA; brothers, Charlie Talbert (Virginia) of Columbia, SC, and Ralph Talbert (Linda) of Elgin, SC; and sister, Linda Heath (Jimmy) of Columbia, SC.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Bunie Mae Blackwell Talbert, and his sisters, Carole West and Anne Drawdy.
