COLUMBIA – Jacqueline Lauren Martin, 70, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel is assisting the family. Born in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth and Herbert Ross Snyder. She was a graduate of Dentsville High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina. She was the first female editor of any military publication and was the managing editor for the Field Artillery Journal. She was a member of the Huguenot Society of South Carolina. Surviving is her beloved husband of forty years, Judge John Randolph Martin and daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Martin, MSc.
