WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Janice Watkins Buccolo, 71, will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church, 2229 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC 29206 with entombment in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Elmwood Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Elmwood Ave. Columbia, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Homeworks in care of the church.
Mrs. Buccolo was born August 28, 1943 in Augusta, GA and passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Bazz Watkins and Elsie Bradley Watkins. She was a member of St. Martins de Porres Roman Catholic Church. She loved to travel and was a member of Tri-County Leisure Center.
Surviving are her husband, Stanley Buccolo of West Columbia; daughter, Carolyn Walker of Lexington; son, James David Grant of North Carolina; brother, David (Lorena) Watkins of West Columbia and grandchildren, Kelly Walker and Stephanie Grant. She was predeceased by her husband, James Grant; parents and sister, Joan Watkins.
