

A funeral service for Jean Yvonne Reynolds, 74 of Blythewood, will be held 3 o'clock, Saturday, July 30, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Blythewood Ward, 1391 Centerville Road, Ridgeway, with Bishop Justin Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Ridgeway. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Reynolds, Joey Paschal, Joshua Reynolds, Justin Cunningham, Tucker Reynolds, and Ken Steiner. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mrs. Reynolds died July 27, 2011 at her home. Born in Fairfield County she was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Anna Bell Beasley Sharpe. She was the wife of the late Willie "Buddy" Reynolds III. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Jean held many positions throughout her life and was also a devoted temple worker. She served her family as a homemaker, always putting others first. She also received her cosmetologist’s license and had a love for learning. Jean was a nurturing caregiver to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Survivors include sons, William A. "Billy" Reynolds of Blythewood, Rhett Lee (Kathy) Reynolds of Monroe, NC, Kevin A. (Wendy) Reynolds of Blythewood; daughter, Deborah Jean Reynolds of Blythewood; daughter-in-law, Brenda Reynolds of Blythewood; eleven treasured grandchildren and six great grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Bruce) Berran of Florida and Margaret Paschal of Columbia. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Lee Sharpe, Jr.
The family would like to thank the many caregivers, family members, church members and friends for their comfort and care of "Jean Jean". Special thanks to Regency Hospice. The family also wishes to acknowledge caregivers, Diane and Deidra Belton for their angelic, selfless care of "Ms. Jean".
