Lana Graham Jones

CHAPIN – Funeral services for Lana Graham Jones, 62, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Seacoast Church with interment in Whitmire Cemetery, Whitmire, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.

Mrs. Jones was born March 31, 1951 in Newberry, SC and passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014. She was the daughter of Lillie Mae King Graham and the late Otis Graham. She was a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor degree and master’s degree from CIU both in education. Mrs. Jones was a teacher at Ben Lippen School and a first grade teacher for 13 years. She loved her students and her career. She was a member of Chapin Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones trusted Christ as her savior 44 years ago. She wanted to be remembered for her love for Christ and her love for others. Surviving are her mother; husband of 47 years, Mike Jones; daughters, Katrina Stikeleather (Steve) and Michelle Mack (Josh); grandchildren, Kristopher, Kyle, Kameron Stikeleather and Addison, Lucas, Taylor Mack and brother, Bill Graham.
