Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on February 14, 1921, she is survived by her children, Jim Moeller, Anne McClintock, and Judy Sercy (Dalmer); her grandchildren, Elisa Moeller, Marcus Moeller (Elizabeth), Kristin Perkinson (Bernardo), Ken Sercy (Erica), and Patrick Sercy (Corey); and her great-grandchildren, Christian Bass, Emma Brown (Eric), Ella Cate Moeller, Lillie Moeller, Matthew Perkinson, Jacob Perkinson, Sydney Sercy, Owen Sercy, and Ford Sercy.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her loving husbands, Carl Moeller and Merle Schirm; her son, Steve; her daughter-in law, Alva; and her granddaughter, Merry.
Lorraine loved music, travel, sewing, baking, golf, the stock market, as well as playing bridge and mahjong with her friends. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Clemson Tigers. She was the “Cookie Queen.”
Friends are invited to celebrate Lorraine’s long, full life with her family at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 501 East Creswell Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646 on Saturday, December 6 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Immanuel Lutheran Church are appreciated.
