
COLUMBIA - A funeral service will be held for Magaiteh Jacqueline Dolo, 24, at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 100 Polo Road, Columbia, SC 29223. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the church. Jackie was born on July 24, 1992 in Staten Island, New York to the union of Dunber Patrick Dolo and Miata Jacqueline Precious Dolo. She was the third of five children. Jackie’s early childhood was in New York until the family relocated to Columbia, South Carolina. Jackie attended Joseph Keels Elementary School and graduated. She started Dent Middle School and later transferred to E.L Wright Middle School and completed her middle school education. She then attended Spring Valley High School and later transferred to North East Side High School where she graduated. Jackie began taking college courses at Midlands Technical College and later decided to work with her father in his business. She worked closely with her late father in managing his businesses at the Underground until her death. She was a very hard worker like her father and was focused on being successful in the business. Jackie had a sweet, generous spirit and a pleasant personality. She was loved by many. Her life was a beautiful flower that she loved so well and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. Jackie loved with her heart and soul. She gave of herself selflessly. She had a very special bond with her siblings, especially her brother Pious Dolo. They shared a special bond from early childhood. Jackie was a true friend to her friends. She will be missed. She departed this life on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at her father’s home in Columbia. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dunber Patrick Dolo Sr., Kou Dolo and Jemima Sherman. Now she can reunite with them in eternity. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her mother, Miata Precious Dolo; sister, Mehlekei Zoe Dolo; nephew, Sincere Anderson; brother, Dunber Pious Dolo Jr.; niece, Zaliyah; nephew, Elijah; brother, Donovan Adolphus Dolo; baby sister, Massa Precious Dolo, all residing in Columbia; sister, Princess, USA; sister, Hope Broderick Watson (Momo Watson); brother, Columbus Broderick (nephew, Ephrain, niece, Ephrainma), all residing in Monrovia, Liberia; grandfather, Samuel Soni Sherman residing in USA; aunties and uncles, grand aunts, grand uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. The family of Jackie wishes to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all our families, friends, Father Sandy and his entire congregation at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church for their support during this difficult time. We would also like to extend thanks to the Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel in Columbia for all of their assistance.
