Mr. Chapman was born on January 24, 1951 in Portland, OR and unexpectedly passed away Sunday, October 6, 2016. He was a son of the late John Rae Chapman and Alyce Margaret Anderson Chapman. Mr. Chapman was employed as CAD Engineer with Prysmian Cables & Systems. He married his love, Mary Frances Hendon, in 1976. Mr. Chapman was known as a father figure to many who appreciated his love, humor, and wisdom.
Mr. Chapman is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Chapman; daughters, Leanna M. Gautney (Jay) of McMinnville, OR and Nadia S. Parker (Charles) of Boiling Springs, SC; son, Michael R. Chapman of Canby, OR; grandchildren, Jacob Gautney, Darren Gautney, Mikaela Gautney and Kevin Chapman; and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter “Charley” Chapman and David Chapman; sister, Jeri Miller; and extended families.
