Michael Leslie Truluck

COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Michael L. Truluck, 59, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Lake Murray Presbyterian Church with interment in Bush River Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina, 2817 Ashland Road, Columbia, SC 29210-5009.

Mr. Truluck was born March 15, 1954 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 after a courageous 22 year battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was a son of the late Leslie Truluck and Irene Jackson Truluck. He was a member of Lake Murray Presbyterian Church. He retired in 1999 from Sabin-Robbins Paper Company, Atlanta, GA. Michael was a member of the Irmo Navy Mens Group. He was an avid Gamecock fan, a great husband and father. He loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Alice Sease Truluck of Columbia; daughter, Rebecca Truluck of Columbia; brothers, Ken (Kay) Truluck, Stan (Kathy) Truluck and sister, Edie Micol and fiancé, Frankie Odom. He was predeceased by his parents.
