Miriam D. McCallum

She touched so many lives as a teacher for 30 years. Her hobbies included sewing, playing the piano and flute, doing puzzles, reading her Bible, and passing out tracts. She was always telling others about the Lord. Her favorite verse was the entire Bible. She just loved reading it.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Eleanor Davis; her husband, Robert McCallum, Sr. and her stepson, Robert McCallum, Jr.

She is survived by Beth McCallum of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Janine Herbert and her husband, Nathan Herbert from New Carlisle, Ohio; Jamin McCallum and his wife, Deborah McCallum from Lexington, South Carolina and Josiah McCallum and his wife, Renee McCallum from Swansea, South Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert McCallum III and his wife, Mandy McCallum; Andrew Herbert and his wife, Hannah Herbert; Ashley Copeland and her husband, Nick Copeland; Alec Herbert; Jefferson McCallum, Jennifer McCallum, and Josiah Thomas. She had several great-grandkids also: Julianna and Ryleigh, Hazel, and Levi. She has three siblings: Esther Palmateer of Narvon, Pennsylvania, Ruth Butler of Cleveland, Ohio, and Jim Davis and his wife, Barbara Davis of Englewood, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Elmwood Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
