WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Nancy Carter Davis, 82, of West Columbia will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church with interment in Elmwood Cemetery and Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church or a local charity of one’s choice.
Mrs. Davis was born October 15, 1933 in Columbia, SC to the late Clarence Richard Carter and Edna Hair Carter and passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016. Mrs. Davis was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. She was employed at K-Mart for 26 years and enjoyed watching television.
She is survived by her son, Chuck Davis, of West Columbia; daughter, Beth Warren (Randy) of West Columbia; grandchildren, Nicole Stonebreaker (Joel), Matthew Warren (Tracie), Joshua Davis (Stephanie) and Alex Davis; sister, Phillis Johnson and brother, Richard Carter. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Edward Davis, Sr.
