The widow of Phillip Hutto, Nellie (“Booster” to family) was born and raised in West Columbia/Cayce. She attended BC High School and was a long time member of Holland Avenue Baptist Church and sang with the area senior Jubilant Choir. Nellie loved to cook and feed family and friends.
Daughter of the late Aaron and Nealie Lovett Baughman, she was predeceased by three sisters, one brother, and grandson, Johnathan Phillip Kelly, Sr.
She is survived by daughters, Phyllis Jean Hutto, Cynthia Hutto Young and son-in-love, Ed Young. Also, grandchildren, Andrea Kelly Williams (Marshall), Edward B. Young (Jhoanna) and Amanda Young. There are six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition, a sister-in-law, Annie Frazier; special niece, Cathy Lee Byrd and nephew, Rev. Steve Baughman.
Services are graveside at Southland Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, April 20 at 2:00 pm.
