Ora Louise Watts

Ora Louise Watts, 87 died on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Born July 6, 1924 in Richland County, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Theresa Willis Bowen. Ms. Watts dedicated 25 years of service to Stone Manufacturing Company where she retired. Her family will miss the many home cooked meals that Ora loved making.

Survivors include sons, Edward Watts (Katie) of Elgin, Christopher DuPre Watts (Kathleen) of Rosamound, CA, Kenneth Watts of Columbia, Jeffery Watts (Sherry) of Lexington; daughter, Vinetia Glock of Chapin; brother, Calvin Bowen (Alma) of Camden; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ora was preceded in death by her husband, Edward D. Watts and brother, Ronald Bowen.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Baptist Medical Center 8th floor oncology as well as the Palmetto Health Hospice for their care and compassion during Mrs. Watts’ illness.
