Becky was born to the late William and Elizabeth Frantz. After the passing of her mother when she was young, she was later raised with the care of her stepmother, Louise Frantz, who also preceded her in death. Becky grew up moving often as her father served in the Air Force. She often spoke with fondness about her time in Okinawa, Japan. Those early travels eventually led her to South Carolina, where she met the love of her life, the late Larry E. Kingery.
Becky is survived by her sons, Michael Lance Kingery (Jessica) and Larry E. Kingery Jr. (Becca), and her grandchildren Mason, Lawson, and Kaden; sister-in-law, Vivian Kingery; niece, Robin Kingery (Eddie); and nephew, Mike Kingery (Angela). She is remembered as well by extended family and friends who were an important part of her life.
Becky worked in commercial insurance for over four decades, where she was respected for her steady work ethic, reliability, and extensive knowledge in her field. Outside of work, she gave her time to St. David’s Episcopal Church, found joy in cooking, loved tending to her garden, and watching Gamecock football.
She will be remembered for her resilience, her quiet generosity, and the small, thoughtful ways she showed care to others.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, at St. David’s Episcopal Church from 2:00–3:00 PM, followed by a service at 3:00 PM.
