COLUMBIA – Memorial service for Sandra Parrish Logan, 74, will be held at 2pm Saturday, June 14, 2014, in the Chapel of Caughman-Harman Funeral Home on Bush River Road in Columbia, officiated by Reverend Mark Bredholt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society,

Mrs. Logan, wife of John E. Logan, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014. Born in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Max B. and Edna Sanderson Parrish of Denton, MD. She received a BA from Drew University, Madison, NJ in 1962; her MBA from Columbia University of New York in 1964; and her PHD in Economics from the University of South Carolina in 1976. Mrs. Logan was employed as an Instructor at the University of Toledo; Assistant Professor at South Carolina State and Professor of Economics and Business at Newberry College.

Survivors are her husband, John E. Logan of Columbia, SC; nephews, James Clemenko of Washington, D.C. and Andrew Clemenko of Annapolis, MD. Mrs. Logan was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Judith Clemenko of Annapolis, MD.
